Established in 2013 by chefs Brandon Uresky and Jessica Curtis. Long time friends that felt there was a need for a quality butcher shop in Truckee.
Brandon Uresky - Graduate of Oregon Culinary Institute and Executive Chef with over 20 years experience in the food industry. Brandon grew up in Connecticut and one of his first jobs was at a butcher shop as a teen. Brandon now continues as the Executive Chef of MVM and Head Butcher.
Jessica Curtis – Graduate of the California Culinary Academy Le Cordon Bleu School with over 15 years in the food industry. Jessica grew up in the Bay Area and always had a passion for cooking from a young age. She worked in the ski industry for a long time before heading to culinary school and finding her interest in butchery and sausage making. Jessica manages the overall operations of the business and continues to spend some time helping customers at the counter.
